Micro job sites: Microworkers and Picoworkers (Review)

May 15, 2018
Microworkers and Picoworkers are two online Micro job platforms (I know there are more but as I said earlier in my previous blog,  website that helps make money, I'm only mentioning the sites that have payment methods other than PayPal).

Now for those who don't know what micro jobs are, micro jobs, as its name says are small jobs that can be done within 5 - 10 mins. On microworkers and Picoworkers you may come across jobs asking you to sign up somewhere, do some research, test an app, share something on Facebook, subscribe to a YouTube channel, etc. As these are micro jobs, the amount you get paid is also very low but by low it doesn't mean that it's unfair, it's just what the task is worth. You may get paid from 5 cents to 10 cents or even 50 cents for some jobs, but they do add up at the end because after all these jobs takes 5 - 10 mins only so you have plenty of time to complete more jobs.

Now there comes a factor on which the amount of money you make depends, i.e the availability of a job, because the more jobs there are the more money you make. So now let me compare and tell you the pros and cons of both microworkers and Picoworkers...   Microworkers have 3 - 5 jobs available at a time, this may vary regional vise because as they say on their website that the jobs are available according to the country you are in, so there are different amounts of jobs available for different countries. Secondly, there cash out limit is $20 for using payoneer and $9 for choosing other payment methods.

Payment methods and guidelines for Microworkers:

Withdrawal Method Processing Fee
Payoneer
(need to earn $20)
5.00%
Skrill/Dwolla 6.50%
Paypal 7.50%
Local Funds Transfer
via Transpay
3.00% + $1.00 for Non USD
3.00% + $3.00 for USD
Picoworkers  have more jobs available than microworkers, there are usually 10 - 15 jobs available and new jobs keep on coming, this may seem a great thing to you, I felt the same at first, but some jobs on this site takes you to unsecured websites that can be dangerous, so even though they have more jobs but you still can not do all of them, secondly their cash out limit is less than microworkers, i.e $7.

There are three things that I like most about Picoworkers, first, they give you $1 bonus when you first sign up (which you can not withdraw but can only use it to post a job), second, they have ongoing micro jobs i.e people hire you for 1 month or more to do a particular task for them once or twice every day or every week during that period, and you get paid every time you complete the task, third, they have a referral program, so anyone who sign up with your referral link gets in your downline and you get paid some commission every time they get paid...

Payment methods and guidelines for Picoworkers:

Withdrawal Method Processing Fee
Amazon Gift Card 3.00%
US Bank Cheque (via mail) $5.00
Crypto Currency 8.00%
Paypal 3.25%
Paysafecard.com $1.00
Payza 4.90%
So here was all I discovered about these two sites now it's your choice to either choose anyone or both. Comment below and let me know is you have any questions related to these two sites, I'll try my best to answer, and let me know if you have used any of these sites before or you know about any other sites that have payment methods other than PayPal..
